The Winter Solstice offers an invitation to truly meet ourselves in the quiet darkness of winter and, in this Christmas season, to meet God through the love and vessel of His Mother.

Aside from Christ Himself, Mary understands love as few can, for only a mother knows both the pain of witnessing her child’s suffering and the sacred joy of nurturing, growing, and birthing the prophetic promise into the world.

She is both tender and strong.

She is the one who humbly said YES to God’s call, and watches over humanity with tenderness, drawing us closer to her Son, the Christ within.

As Our Lady of Sorrows, she understands our grief and walks with us in our suffering.

As Queen of Angels, she is surrounded by divine light and loving guardianship, offering protection, guidance, and comfort to all who turn toward her.

To know her is to love her.
To know her is to love Christ more deeply.
To know her is to know yourself more fully.
To know her is to be held by the one who mothered God incarnate.
To know her is to return to the heart and origins of our ancient faith.

This is why I am hosting a virtual Winter Solstice retreat and ceremony, a sacred space where Mother Mary will guide us into the Womb of Creation.

Together, we will be held in her loving embrace as we cross the Portal of REBIRTH.

We are invited to gather at the threshold of darkness and light to tend to the seeds within that are ready to awaken.

When two or more gather in sacred space, an unseen alchemy unfolds.

Hearts open, veils lift, and transformation begins.

Together, we will enter the stillness.

With Mother Mary as the Master Teacher and The Holy Spirit as our Guides we will listen for what is ready to be released and for what is waiting to be born.

Like the Morning Star announcing the Sun, Mary’s life and her sacred YES at the Annunciation prepared the world for Christ, the Source of all grace.
